Viability / Purpose of the Build

The easiest druid starter build with zero gear requirements. Check the links below for some videos.
Interesting change on Athena's that is very nice. Although the +2 is a nerf overall, you gain 3-4 extra spirit wolves.

Druid Summoner Normal Run video - Nothing in this video has changed for S12

Druid Summoner Farm & Ubers video - Nothing in this video has changed for S12

Druid Summoner DClone/Lucion Video - S12 T0 DClone is harder and requires a bit more gear very early, still possible though. The basics are the still the same.

Skills

See picture for skills. Max Ravens, your main damage dealer, and 1 point Gust for normal.
Get 6 Spirit Wolves, start on Heart of Wolverine until Grizzly Bears. Max Bears, Heart of Wolverine, Spirit Wolves and Gust.

If you want to do bosses, put your remaining points into Lycanthropy and 1pt into Werewolf instead of Gust. Keep 1pt in Gust ofcourse.

Attributes

Get str/dex for gear, rest in vitality. You can prepare for Athena's Wrath, 82str/82dex and Denmother, 95str.

Gear

For summons its basically all about the +skills so get as many as you can. Season 12 added FCR on Large Charms, use these to get the needed FCR breakpoints early.

Druid summons work with active skills for synergies, unlike necro, so +skills are key for damage (and pre-buff is less useful).

Early Game Gear

Neophyte in a white/regular 2 socket +3 Ravens club, also look out for white/regular 2 socket +3 Grizzly clubs. Same goes for helmet (or pelt), Lore +3 Ravens into Lore +3 Bears. Just make sure its a white/regular 2 socketed one.
Best spots to find these bases is big density areas like cows or flayer jungle. Preferably no MF and a low filter strictness.
+3 Amulet, Sigons shield and a rare +1 Druid armor are all good. Get 46 or 68 FCR for smoother resummoning of Ravens.

Check out THIS LINK for the early game skills and gear. Best slams are sockets and +1 all skills where possible.

Mid Game Gear

Get an Athena's Scythe, Aldurs Helm and Skin of the Vipermagi as soon as possible.
Full Aldurs is alright, less +skills but quite a bit of safety. Ofcourse be on the lookout for a Fenris or Denmother. Both are very good.

Check out THIS LINK for the mid game skills and gear. Best slams are sockets and +1 all skills where possible.

Check THIS LINK for Full Aldurs setup. Best slams are sockets and +1 all skills where possible.

Mercenary

A1 Fire for Vigor. Look for bows with Amplify Damage. Ideally a Witchwild String. Give her IAS/Pierce wherever possible.
A3 Cold for Blizzard DPS with a Spirit paladin shield, Neophyte sceptre, Stealth armor and random 10fcr belt/gloves for 86fcr.
Act 4 Dark for Amplify Damage, give him a Purity or Insight staff, Stealth armor and another piece of gear with 10fcr for 75fcr.
Act 5 for Might aura. Look out for rare weapons with Amplify Damage. Ideally you want a Vile Husk.

Leveling

The build works for SC and HC. In normal Ravens are all you need, later Bears and Wolves tank for you while Ravens kill.
Gust gives you the added bonus of a free teleport to move around, you're basically a tanky sorc.

Farming

You can farm Pits, Stony Tomb, Travincal, Chaos and Shenk & Eldritch, get that Athena's asap! With midgame gear you can also easily do Uber Tristram for your own Torch.
You can also kill Diablo Clone with it to get your own Annihilus, all you need is a random Denmother. Uber Ancients is also a good spot, just keep resummoning your Bears and Ravens and keep your mercenary alive.
