Reddit Thread)

General Changes

  • Added a button to upgrade rejuvenation potions and flawless gems directly in the stash.
    • This is a quality of life change to skip having to do cube recipes.
  • Added the ability to search items in the stash:
    • The search allows for searching ANY text contained on the item (name, stats, etc).
    • Supports regex.
    • Ctrl + F as hotkey for searching.
    • This also displays which tabs contain the searched item.
  • Shrine buffs are now removed on entering maps.
    • This was changed because people complained about the EXP shrine meta.
  • Anya now rewards 3 tier 1 maps instead of 1.
  • Increased drop chance of T1 maps in corrupted zones.
  • Increased the maximum amount of times a missile using the +% change to pierce mod could pierce from 4 to 10.
  • Split the sound options into multiple sliders for complete customization.
  • Added an "Autosync" feature to the options menu.
    • This will automatically resync the player with the server at a fixed interval if the player is desynced beyond a certain value.
  • Added an in-game command ".show-ui" that toggles showing all the UI or not.
    • Note: This is somewhat hacky and not intended for normal gameplay, it's purely for getting screen recordings without the UI. Most players will NOT want to use this.
  • Added an in-game command ".set-cursor [0-39]".
    • Note: Anything other than 0 will draw a small colored box (in various styles and colors).
    • ".set-cursor 0" will reset this.
  • Reworked melee splash:
    • It now rolls damage and checks for resistances on each monster it hits independently instead of being based on the initial target.
    • All effects applied by attacks are now carried with melee splash with the exception of "On Hit" and "On Striking" proc effects (On Hit/Striking did not apply in the previous iteration either so this has only increased the amount of effects that can be applied via splash).
  • Reduced Talic's whirlwind damage.
  • Socket recipes for normal quality items now work on arrows (arrows use the shield recipe).
  • Socket recipes now work on superior items.
  • When using the socket recipe for normal quality items on helmets, shields or chests they will now roll between 1-3 (helmets) or 1-4 (shields/chests) instead of rolling 1-6 and defaulting to the max possible socket amount when rolling above it.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing +% elemental damage stats from not increasing flat added elemental damage on ranged attacks.
  • Fix the crash from hovering skills while an "X skill while equipped" aura item is equipped.
  • Shadow Master is now correctly gaining strength.
  • Fixed Blade Fury animation cancelling.
  • Fixed an issue with Artic Blast and Inferno channeling.
  • Fixed Uber health overflowing in higher player counts.
  • Fixed an issue with unique/set item generation through cube recipes using the name of the item (single player mod fix).
  • Fixed a client crash for players using controller when pressing LB/L1 after joining a new game.
  • Fixed an issue with the aim assist setting not saving properly on controller.
  • Fixed some controller joysticks not fully matching the direction pushed.
  • Fixed item text flickering with long descriptions and item help text turned on.
  • Fixed an issue with Right-Click Equip sometimes getting "stuck" on cursor when equipping to an empty slot with an item that the player does not meet requirements for.
  • Added an option to turn Right Click Equip on or off.
    • Go to Esc -> Options -> PD2 Options -> Controls.
  • Fixed controller D-Pad item movement not working in stash/NPC trade until the cursor is moved.
  • Fixed a crash related to the new unique Void map.
  • Fixed an issue with resistance modifiers being calculated twice for melee splash damage.
  • Fixed an issue where maps would sometimes turn into a broken Ruined Citadel map after a cube recipe.
  • Fixed player characters sometimes displaying the incorrect items or missing their heads in the lobby screens.
  • Fixed Poison/Open Wounds damaging Uber bosses while they are immune.
  • Fixed some map bosses having the incorrect level.

Loot Filter

  • Added new Path of Exile drop sounds.
  • Added a new function to play drop notification sounds.
    • These sounds will always play through the "Item Drops" sound channel.
  • Added the ".playsound [sound-id]" chat command (to help loot filter creators).
  • Added %BASENAME% keyword (thanks segnis).
  • Added REROLLALVL & %REROLLALVL% keywords (thanks segnis).
  • Added TRUE or FALSE keywords (thanks segnis).
  • Added MISC which will flag all items in misc.txt.
    • Note: misc.txt now has the normcode/ubercode/ultracode columns like weapons.txt and armor.txt. This means NORM will not also filter items in misc.txt so make sure your filters are updated to handle this.
  • Added JEWELRY, CHARM and QUIVER conditions.
  • Added BUYPRICE and %BUYPRICE%.
  • Added SELLPRICE and %SELLPRICE% (alias of PRICE).
  • Added more location-based conditions:
    • MERC.
    • INVENTORY.
    • CUBE.
    • STASH.
    • GROUND.

PVP

Maps

  • Added new unique map called City of Ureh, created by Alma (item code: T56).
  • This map makes monsters drop socketed items and the boss will always drop a socketed unique.
    • Note: Currently this rolls between min and max socket count but will follow the same ruleset as puzzleboxes on launch.
  • Zhar's Sanctum:
    • Mini bosses now have a 50% chance to drop skill charms on death.
  • Imperial Palace:
    • Reduced the experience bonus found on the map.

Map Events

  • Horazon Event:
    • Now sunders the monsters resistances to 0.
    • Now drops 6 maps on death.
    • 10% chance to drop a unique map.

Ubers

  • Tier 0 Diablo Clone, Rathma and Lucion now have three portals.
  • Tier 0 Diablo Clone, Rathma and Lucion now have increased health (damage, absorb and other stats remain unchanged).
  • Entering an additional tier 0 portal will heal the boss by 20% (any phases cleared will not be triggered again).
  • Entering a tier 0 portal will grant a temporary invulnerability to the player.
  • Rathma:
    • Fixed outer ring poison damage radius not properly dealing damage.
    • Fixed later waves having fewer monsters than intended.
    • Fixed fissure skeletons spawning outside the arena.
  • Lucion:
    • All Lucion attacks ignore 2/3rd of your current block rate (includes weapon block/parry).
      • Lucion's minions are still blocked at full block rate.
    • Fixed a safe spot in the Lucion arena.
  • Diablo Clone:
    • Fixed invisible fire.
      • Ground fire is always synced between server/client but the bone spirits might occasionally desync. The fire will not be invisible and it will be where it is on your screen.
    • Fixed Diablo Clone entering the nova phase while the skeletons are still alive.
    • Reduced the threat provided by the tormented souls in the Diablo Clone fight (this will cause summons/minions to attack them less often).

Amazon

  • Multiple Shot:
    • Enhanced damage per level bonus reduced from 5% to 3%.
  • Exploding Arrow:
    • Reworked: Monsters hit from the initial arrow now create smaller explosions behind them.
  • Strafe:
    • Synergy reduced from 12% to 10%.
  • Lightning Fury:
    • Pierce limit increased from 4 to 6.

Assassin

  • Blade Fury:
    • Now requires the +% chance to pierce stat in order to pierce.
    • Synergies reduced from 15% to 10%.
    • Weapon damage reduced from 100% to 75% (was 85% during beta).
  • Blade Sentinel:
    • Weapon damage increased from 75% -> 100%.
    • Added flat damage scaling reduced from 1/2/3/4/5 -> 1/1/2/3/4.
    • Added flat damage synergy reduced from 15% -> 12%.
    • Improved tooltip to explain AoE damage.
  • Chain Lightning Sentry:
    • Maximum chains increased from 5 to 7.
  • Wake of Fire:
    • Range increased by 25%.
  • Death Sentry:
    • AoE radius increased from 12 yards to 14.
    • Synergies increased from 8% to 9%.
  • Venom:
    • Synergies increased from 12% to 14%.
    • Now properly gains damage bonuses from +% poison damage sources with ranged attacks.
  • Blade Dance:
    • Now deals damage every 5th frame instead of every 4th.
    • Base enhanced damage reduced from 40% to 30%.
    • Enhanced damage per level reduced from 5% to 4%.
  • Blades of Ice:
    • Synergies increased from 15% to 17%.
    • Third stage missile count increased from 8 to 10.
    • Third stage base damage increased from 11-26 to 24-32.
    • Third stage level 1-8 scaling increased from 6-8 to 8-12.
    • Third stage level 8-16 damage scaling increased from 9-11 to 13-17.
    • Third stage level 16-22 damage scaling increased from 20-22 to 27-36.
    • Third stage level 22-28 damage scaling increased from 32-33 to 33-44.
    • Third stage level 28+ damage scaling increased from 44-44 to 44-59.
  • Claws of Thunder:
    • Third stage charged bolt hitbox size increased from 1 to 2.
  • Dragon Flight:
    • Now has its cooldown reduced with soft points going from 2 seconds (base) to 1 second (at level 24).

Barbarian

  • War Cry:
    • Howl synergy increased from 16% to 17%.
    • Battle Cry synergy increased from 16% to 17%.
    • Taunt synergy increased from 12% to 13%.
    • Shout synergy increased from 12% to 13%.
    • Battle Command synergy increased from 12% to 13%.
    • Battle Orders synergy increased from 12% to 13%.
    • Range increased every 4 levels instead of 7.
    • Range caps max radius at level 28.
  • Leap Attack:
    • Synergies increased from 8% to 10%.
    • Enhanced damage per level increased from 4% to 6%.

Druid

  • Tornado:
    • Now reduces Gust's current cooldown by 0.25 seconds on cast.
  • Twister:
    • Now reduces Gust's current cooldown by 0.25 seconds on cast.
  • Volcano:
    • Synergies reduced from 10% to 9%.
  • Maul:
    • Enhanced damage bonus scaling reduced from 50% to 40%.
  • Werebear:
    • Enhanced damage bonus per level reduced from 20% to 15%.
  • Hunger:
    • Synergies increased from 16% to 20%.
  • Fissure:
    • Synergies increased from 10% to 12%.

Necromancer

  • Teeth:
    • Base mana cost reduced from 2 to 1.5.
    • Mana cost per level increase has been reduced from 0.5 to 0.375.
  • Amplify Damage:
    • -% to enemy physical resistance no longer caps at 60% (value is uncapped).
    • Base duration increased from 4 seconds to 6.
  • Lower Resist:
    • -% to enemy elemental resistances no longer caps at 65% (value is uncapped).
  • Terror:
    • Base movement speed reduction increased from -10% to -15%.
  • Confuse:
    • Base attack speed bonus increased from +10% to +50%.
    • Now gains +10% increased attack speed per soft point instead of +10% per base point.
    • Radius no longer increases with levels.
  • Decrepify:
    • Fixed base movement speed reduction starting at -11% instead of -10%.
    • Base duration increased from 4 seconds to 6.
  • Iron Maiden:
    • Base duration increased from 6 seconds to 10.
  • Weaken:
    • -% to enemy defense no longer caps at 60% (value is uncapped).
  • Corpse Explosion:
    • No longer requires line of sight to cast.
  • Dim Vision:
    • Base attack rating debuff values reduced from -50 to -40.
    • -15 to enemy attack rating per level reduced to -10.
    • Curse Mastery synergy -10 to enemy attack rating reduced to -5.

Paladin

  • Fist of the Heavens:
    • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 11-23 to 12-24.
    • Level 28+ scaling increased to 15-30 to 17-32.
  • Holy Bolt:
    • Level 28+ scaling increased from 26-28 to 27-29.
  • Sacrifice:
    • Increased maximum radius cap by 20%.
    • Sacrifice now reaches max radius at level 24 instead of level 40.
  • Joust:
    • Base cooldown increased from 3.5 seconds to 4.
    • Cooldown now reduces with soft points reaching 1.5 seconds at level 25.
  • Holy Light:
    • Updated Holy Light visual effect.

Sorceress

  • Blizzard:
    • Now deals AoE damage at each projectile impact point.
  • Shiver Armor:
    • Gives +10% faster block rate, +2% per base level.
    • No longer requires Ice Blast pre-requirement.
  • Chilling Armor:
    • Gives +5% successful chance to block, +1% per base level.
  • Chain Lightning:
    • Now reaches maximum chains (14) at level 31 instead of level 45.
    • Synergies increased from 6% to 8%.
  • Lightning:
    • Synergies increased from 6% to 8%.
  • Combustion:
    • Cooldown reduced from 3 seconds to 2.5.
  • Nova:
    • Area of effect radius increased from 12 to 14.
  • Frost Nova:
    • Area of effect radius reduced from 14 to 12.
  • Enchant Fire:
    • Now properly gains damage bonuses from +% fire damage sources with ranged attacks.
  • Cold Enchant:
    • Now properly gains damage bonuses from +% cold damage sources with ranged attacks.
  • Fire Bolt:
    • Now deals AoE damage in a small radius on impact.
  • Ice Bolt:
    • Now deals AoE damage in a small radius on impact.
  • Ice Blast:
    • Missile size increased from 1 to 2.

Items

  • Demonic Cube drop rate in Hell difficulty has been increased by 60%.
  • Arrows and bolts can now roll 1-2 sockets.
  • Arrows and bolts now have a normal, exceptional and elite version (item codes - arrows: Aqv, Aqv2, Aqv3 / bolts: Cqv, Cqv2, Cqv3).
  • Arrows now roll with flat maximum damage.
  • Bolts now roll with physical pierce (-2%/-4%/-6%).
  • Reduced the drop rate of quivers significantly.
  • Crossbows no longer have physical pierce.
    • Note: This has been migrated to bolts.
  • Stalagmite:
    • Max socket count increased from 3 to 4.
  • Ber Rune:
    • Physical damage reduction increased from 5% to 6%.

Affixes

  • Added faster cast rate prefixes to large charms (+3-4% / 5-6%).
  • Added attack speed prefixes to large charms (+4-5% / 6-7%).
  • Increased the spawn chance of 10/20% faster run walk mods on boots.
  • Removed visceral mod from bows.
  • Removed chance to flee prefixes from staves, orbs and wands.
  • Removed all flat elemental damage affixes from staves, orbs and wands.
  • Removed life and mana leech affixes from orbs and wands.
  • Removed -requirements affixes from wands.
  • Removed repairs durability affixes from orbs and wands.
  • Removed all on hit/attack skill affixes from orbs and wands.
  • Removed teleport charges affix from orbs.
  • Increased the spawn rate of faster cast rate affixes on orbs, staves and clubs.
  • Added new 4 - 8 LPK/MPK prefixes for staves, orbs and wands.
  • Added new 3 tiers of +% fire/cold/lightning damage to orbs and staves.
  • Added new 3 tiers of +% poison/magic/fire damage to wands.
  • Added +5-10/10-20/20-30% mana regeneration as an affix for orbs and wands.
  • Added +10-20/20-30/30-40% mana regeneration as an affix for staves.
  • Added +5-10/10-20/20-30 life replenish as an affix for orbs and wands.
  • Added +10-20/20-30/30-40 life replenish as an affix for staves.
  • Added +1-2/3-5/6-9 strength as an affix for orbs, wands and staves.
  • Added +3-5/6-9/10-15 dexterity as an affix for orbs and wands.
  • Fixed +10% faster cast rate not spawning on high level circlets.
  • Fixed +30-40% single element resistance affixes not properly spawning on shields.
  • Reduced the shop price of several affixes.
  • Fixed boots no longer rolling 10% faster hit recovery mod after ilvl 45.
  • Added crafting recipes for arrows (uses the same ingredients as shield recipes).
    • Blood: 5-10% crushing blow, 10-20 life, 2-4% life stolen on hit.
    • Caster: 5-10% faster cast rate, 10-20 mana, 2-4 mana after each kill.
    • Hitpower: 5% chance to cast level 4 Frost Nova when struck, -10 to -20% target defense, knockback.
    • Safety: magic damage reduced by 4-7, physical damage reduced by 4-7, 10% faster run/walk.
    • Vampiric: 2-4% mana stolen per hit, 20-30% poison length reduction, replenish life +5-10.
    • Bountiful: 5-10 vitality, 15-25% better chance of magic items, 20-30% extra gold from monsters.
    • Brilliant: 5-10 all resists, 100-150 defense vs. missile, 10% faster hit recovery.

Uniques

  • Andariel's Visage:
    • Level 3 Venom (20 charges) removed.
    • +30% increased attack speed reduced to +20%.
    • Added -6 to -10% to enemy poison resistance.
    • 15% chance to cast level 30 Poison Nova when struck increased to level 36.
    • +70% poison resistance reduce to +50%.
  • The Cat's Eye:
    • Added +20% chance to pierce.
    • +100 defense removed.
    • +30% increased faster run/walk now rolls to +20-30%.
  • Demon Machine:
    • 15% chance to cast Multiple Shot reduced to 10%.
      • Note: This chance was made to offset the increased pierce cap which leads to more procs.
  • Blackoak Shield:
    • Chilling Armor when equipped now grants +5% successful block chance.
  • Stalker's Cull:
    • Dragon Flight cooldown reduction removed.
    • +10% maximum deadly strike added.
  • Death Cleaver:
    • +10% max deadly strike increased to +15%.
  • Halaberd's Reign:
  • Soul Drainer:
    • -5% to enemy physical resistance reduced to +4-5%.
  • Leoric's Mithril Bane:
    • Joust cooldown reduction increased from 0.5 to 0.75.
    • Level requirement reduced from 72 to 68.
  • Stormlash:
    • 30% chance to cast level 28 Tornado increased to 35% chance to cast level 30 Tornado.
  • Frostwind:
    • +2 to Cold skills increased to +2-3.
    • +2-3 to Arctic Blast o skill reduced to +2.
  • Fleshripper:
  • Lightsabre:
    • 18% chance to cast level 28 Chain Lightning on attack changed to 18% chance to cast level 35 Lightning on attack.
      • Note: This is because Chain Lightning procs are bugged and do not deal damage (Lord of Destruction bug).
  • Viperfork:
    • +50% increased attack speed increased to +60%.
  • Athena's Wrath:
    • Added you may summon +3-4 additional Spirit Wolves.
    • +2-3 to Summoning skills reduced to +2.
  • Tomb Reaver:
    • +2-4 sockets increased to 3-5.
  • Grandfather:
    • Self repair durability removed.
    • +200-260% enhanced damage to +180-240%.
  • Ribcracker:
    • +100 defense removed.
    • +30% faster cast rate removed.
    • No longer gains faster cast rate when upgraded.
    • Added +10-25% crushing blow efficiency.
  • Skull Collector:
    • +10-20 to mana after each kill reduced to +10-15.
  • Zerae's Resolve:
    • +6-8 to Joust reduced to +5.
      • Note: This is to offset Joust cooldown reduction scaling with soft points now.
  • Whispering Mirage:
    • +180-240% enhanced damage reduced to +160-220%.
  • Veil of Steel:
    • +60-100% enhanced damage reduced to +160-220%.
  • Wraithskin:
    • +40-50% curse resistance reduced to +30-40%.
    • -5% maximum life removed.
  • Boneflame:
    • +3 to Necromancer skill levels now rolls +2-3.
  • Sacred Totem:
  • Skywarden:
    • +1-2 to Paladin skills increased to +2.
    • +2 to Offensive Auras reduced to +1-2.
  • Steelrend:
    • Attackers take damage of 250 removed.
    • Added +5-10% crushing blow efficiency.
    • +20-30% crushing blow reduced to +10-20%.
  • Marrowwalk:
  • Siggard's Staunch:
    • +5-10% increased maximum life reduced +5-8%.
  • Added a new TC87 bow called "Crackleshot".
  • Added a new roster of unique arrows and quivers:
  • Added a rare chance for the following items to drop as anniversary edition skin (these were selected by a community draw):
    • Stats remain otherwise unchanged, it's only a graphical chance and does not affect gameplay.
    • Rarity differs per item, but generally quite rare.
    • White Shaftstop chosen by Trembles.
    • Crystal Red Stormshield chosen by Hypodon.
    • Bright White Shako chosen by A3322.
    • Black Fenris chosen by Biddys.
    • Crystal Red Mang Song chosen by Adman.

Runewords

  • Wind runeword:
    • Fixed Wind not working correctly in staves.
  • Added a new runeword "Ancient's Foresight" for 2 socket quivers.
  • Added a new runeword "Ancient's Scripture" for 2 socket quivers.
  • Added a new runeword "Echo" for 2 socketed throwing weapons, javelins and quivers.
    • Note: The quiver variant differs from the throwing weapon/javelin variant.
