GENERAL CHANGES

  • Maps now have Players 5 Loot (increased from players 3)
  • We have a new trade site coming that we will be aiming to launch by week 2
  • All active skills are now available on left click
  • Monsters will now apply decrepify at the proper -physical resist value (in season 5 decrepify will reduce physical resist by -10%)
  • Loot dropped over the edge by flying monsters will now spawn on the nearest ground location
  • Healing NPCs now remove chill
  • Targeting monsters has been improved. If you name lock a monster and it dies you will continue to attack instead of your character stopping all actions
  • The settings tab should now allow you to set a keybind to the experience tracker
  • Disabled cubing quest items with runes or jewels
  • Act 1 mercenaries can now use arrows and bolts
  • Fixed crushing blow applying to bosses below 65%
  • We've added “uber ancients” a new farming boss that can be unlocked by getting a sigil from each tier of map and combining them in a Relic of the Ancients. This fight will be more casual friendly and upon death the ancients will drop a random pile of loot giving you a break from the regular aoe farming grind! (fixed - added names of sigils)

  • Mercenaries can no longer proc summon skills (this prevents crashes)
  • Area level now shows at the top right of the screen beside the area name
  • A DPS meter has been added to the game (type .dps in game to enable / disable, upon re enabling will start a fresh dps parse)
  • Fixed a bug that was causing summons to benefit from monster map modifiers
  • Monsters that die from chaos sanctuary seals will no longer drop loot
  • Added a new act 5 mercenary that casts battle orders, battle cry and uses whirlwind
  • Saving anya in hell will now reward the player with a random white tier 1 map
  • Move only can no longer name lock and will always target the ground
  • Improved auto gold pickup (this only works with gold that is not filtered)
  • Lootfilters can now have multiple versions called "Filter Levels" with different strictness levels or other variations (fixed - wasn't mentioned)
    • FILTLVL is a new condition for differentiating filter levels
    • %TIER-X% is a new keyword (X is 0-9) for specifying at which filter levels text notifications should be active, with them disabled at higher levels - (if it's not used, %TIER-9% is assumed)
    • Note: Minimap icons are not disabled, so for filter levels 1-9, items can now be shown with map icons only (no text notifications)
  • Shared stash has been added with 9 shared stash tabs and 1 personal page (shared stash is disabled on single player to prevent any issues with plugy users)
  • Player and mercenary resistances now cap at 90 down from 95
  • Ranged attacks now have a 50% leech penalty
  • Quick cast has been added to the game (you can set quick cast and non quick cast keys at the same time by using the primary keybind for quick cast and secondary keybind for regular)
  • All missile skills now properly benefit from skill attack rating bonuses
  • A new skill bar has been added to the game in the settings menu (this can be used to monitor other keybinds or cooldowns)
  • Buff timers have been added to the game (you can enable the duration numbers to always show through the settings menu)
  • Added a new ultra rare item called “vial of lightsong” (1:7.5m chance to drop) that can drop anywhere and turns an item ethereal (item code: llmv)
  • Added a new ultra rare item called “lilith's mirror” that can drop anywhere and duplicates it, adding a “mirrored” (brightwhite) tag to the new item and “mirrored”(black) to existing (mirrored items can never be modified again even with hel + tp recipe) 1:25m chance to drop (item code: llmr)
  • Added a new rare item “skeleton key” that can drop anywhere and can be used as an unlimited-use key (1:5m chance to drop)
  • Added a new crafting material called “larzuk's puzzlepiece” which functions the same as larzuk's puzzlebox but can only be used on normal, magic, rare and crafted items (roughly the rarity of a mal rune)
  • Top three diablo clone / rathma killers of each class and top three 99s of each class reward glows will now be automatic and toggled on / off through the settings menu
  • The BH settings menu has been overhauled to be cleaner and contain additional information
  • Having more than one item in your cube and using a worldstone shard will no longer result in the others being destroyed
  • Having two identical items in a cube during a recipe will no longer result in the second identical item being consumed
  • Larzuk's puzzlebox is no longer consumed when used with throwing weapons
  • Cloak of shadows will no longer crash the game at ancients
  • Mausoleum and crypt density increased by 9%
  • There is now a gamble refresh button (fixed - wasn't mentioned)

The following zones have had their area levels increased in hell mode

  • Tristram increased to 82
  • Forgotten tower level 3 increased to 84
  • Forgotten tower level 2 increased to 83
  • Forgotten tower level 1 increased to 82
  • Halls of the dead level 2 increased to 82
  • Canyon of the magi increased to 80

PVP CHANGES

  • Recharge charges recharge 200% faster in pvp arenas (for example blink on enigma)
  • Life replenish is now capped at +30 in pvp arenas
  • Oak sage no longer provides life replenish in pvp arenas

MAP CHANGES

  • Added 3 new maps - Royal Crypts (item code: t15), Shadows of Westmarch (item code:t26) and the Sanatorium (item code:t14)
  • Add 1 new dungeon - Sanctuary of Sin (item code:T43)
  • Maps now require level 80 to enter (increased from 75)
  • Maps now require hell ancients quest completion to enter
  • Map events have a new automap icon and a text message displays when they spawn
  • Fixed a bug related to monsters deal +X% of physical damage as additional damage map mods (this was resulting in blood bringers doing absurd amounts of damage with these mods)
  • Tier 3 maps now drop tier 1 maps
  • T1-T3 map drop weights have been modified so you'll find more equal amounts of each tier of map
  • Reduced the health of tier 1 monsters by roughly 20% and tier 2 by roughly 10%
  • The shadow of mendeln map event has been reworked to have a constant flow of undead instead of being wave based
  • Treasure fallen have had their move speed and health reduced
  • The butcher event is now disabled
  • The dark wanderer event will no longer sometimes spawn no monsters
  • Added a new event "Spire of Darkness" this event presents a dark obelisk that when activated turns the entire zone turns pitch black. As you explore the zone you will encounter shadows leaving the darkness which have a chance to drop uber keys on death
  • The lost temple map layout has been updated and increased in size
  • Dungeon bosses will now have a 5% chance to drop a horadrim scarab
  • Dungeon monsters now have 75% curse reduction
  • The plains of torment map has been updated

UBER CHANGES

  • Shrines will now be removed upon entering rathma or diablo clone arenas
  • Minions and mercs die when entering rathma / mendeln or diablo clone arenas

Uber Tristram

  • Keys have been reverted back to their original drop rates and organs back to 100% drop rates
  • Uber diablo, uber baal and uber mephisto have had their magic and physical resists reduced by 10
  • Uber diablo, uber baal and uber mephisto have had their fire, lightning, cold and poison resists reduced by 20

Rathma

  • Rathma ingredients are now roughly 8x more common
  • Ancient Bone Fragments are no longer spawnable (fixed - wasn't mentioned)
  • Prime evil soul has been removed from the rathma recipe
  • Tainted worldstone shards can now brick annis again at a ⅕ chance
  • Rathma has had unique tp and id books added at 1/50 chance to drop (can drop alongside rathma specific uniques). These items can be used in recipes that would normally require a tp scroll, tp book, id scroll or id book with unlimited use (fixed - added names of tomes)
    • Horadrim Navigator is a tp book with unlimited quantity
    • Horadrim Almanac is an id book with unlimited quantity which id's all items at once similar to cain)
  • Rathma specific unique items rarity increased to 1/200
  • A few modifications have been made to the Rathma fight
    • Rathma is no longer undead
    • Rathma and Mendeln chance to block has been increased from 15% to 30%
    • Rathma and mendeln have 10% reduced health in stage 1 and stage 2
    • Rathma and mendelns ai delay in stage 3 has been reduced to match stage 1 and stage 2 of the fight
    • Rathma and mendeln magic resist reduced from 45 to 35
    • Voidknight chance to block increased from 29% to 50%
    • Voidknight in stage 3 now have 12% more health
    • Voidknight now grant 250% more experience
    • Voidknight in stage 1 have had their fire and lightning resist reduced from 99/99 to 75/75
    • Voidknight in stage 2 have had their fire and lightning resist reduced from 90/90 to 75/75
    • Voidknight in all stages magic resistance reduced from 60 to 50%
    • Voidknight poison resist reduced from 30 to 20%
    • Voidknight can no longer deal critical strikes
    • Voidknight damage has been adjusted
    • Conjured soul block chance increased from 16 to 31%
    • Conjured souls lightning and fire resist reduced from 99 to 75
    • Conjured souls poison resist reduced from 30 to 20
    • Conjured souls magic resist reduced from 60 to 50
    • Sanguine bearers now grant 1000 experience
    • Sanguine bearers now have a 90% leech reduction
    • Sanguine bearers magic resistance reduced from 45 to 25
    • Mendeln slime nova damage reduced by 9%

Diablo Clone

  • Diablo clone materials are now roughly twice as common
  • A few modifications to the Diablo Clone fight have been made
    • Diablo clones minions now have much faster run speed
    • Cold chills during the fight now last much longer from all source
    • Reduced the damage of diablo clones firestorm by roughly 6.5%
    • Diablo clones health has been reduced by 10%
    • Diablo clones minions now provide 750% more experience
    • Diablo clone is now invulnerable while his minions are alive
    • Diablo clones nova should now reach the edge of the arena

CLASS CHANGES

Amazon

  • Reduced multiple shot penalty from 50% per pierce (ex. 100%>50%>25%>12.5%>etc) to 20% flat reduction per pierce capping at 20% minimum (ex 100%>80%>60%>40%>20%>20%>etc)
  • Multiple shot range increased by 8%
  • Strafe damage per level increased from 14% to 15%
  • Strafe missile speed reduced by 25% (to help prevent some missile desync)
  • Strafe missile range increased by 33% (this results in roughly the same total range due to the missile speed loss)
  • Strafe now has penetrate as a synergy at 10% damage per level
  • Charged strike now fires 3 bolts at level 1 instead of 2 bolts
  • Dodge and evade now have a 4 frame cooldown after mitigating an attack
  • Evade movement speed bonus changed from a diminishing return scaling capping at 45% to gaining an additional 2% per level capping at 65%
  • Evade level 1 movement speed bonus increased from 10% to 15%
  • Slow movement movement speed reduction per level increased from 1% to 2%
  • Slow movement missile speed reduction level 1-16 scaling increased from 1% per level to 2%
  • Slow movement radius cap increased from 12 yards to 16
  • Slow movement radius now increases by .6 per level
  • Slow movement base duration increased from 5 seconds to 10 seconds
  • Slow movement now gains .2 seconds duration per level
  • Inner sight radius cap increased from 18 yards to 20
  • Inner sight level 1 -1% to enemy attack rating increased to -10%
  • Decoy missile range increased by 10%
  • Decoy ai delay reduced by 20% (will now attempt actions more often)
  • Decoy duration increased from 15 seconds to 30 seconds
  • Decoy synergies increased from 8% to 10%

  • Valkyrie base power strike level increased from 1 to 5

Assassin

  • Martials arts attacks now maintain their third charge and allow you to use a finisher to cast all three stages at once
  • Cobra strike, claws of thunder, blades of ice, fists of fire and phoenix strike charges now last 5 minutes
  • Tiger strike attack rating per level increased from +10% to +15%
  • Dragon talon attack rating per level increased from +15% to 25%
  • Dragon flight attack rating per level increased from 10% to 15%
  • Cobra strike attack rating per level increased from +8% to 14%
  • Claws of thunder attack rating per level increased from +8% to 12%
  • Blades of ice attack rating per level increased from +4% to 10%
  • Phoenix strike attack rating per level increased from +4% to 10%
  • Phoenix strike chain lightning base damage increased from 1-40 to 1-60
  • Phoenix strike level 1-8 chain lightning scaling increased from 0-20 to 0-40

  • Psychic hammer now gains an additional bounce every 10 soft levels instead of capping at 3

  • A new assassin skill has been added called Blade Dance. This skill is only found on chaos runeword and functions the exact same as whirlwind with the exception that it attacks every 4 frames instead of every 5 like whirlwind (The original whirlwind oskill has been removed) (whirlwind now attacks 1 frame slower while dual wielding)
  • Fists of fire rework has been reworked
    • Stage 1: explosion + ground fire
    • Stage 2: fire nova
    • Stage 3: casts 3 meteors in a line with delays between each other that leave ground fire

Barbarian

  • General mastery now applies to daggers
  • Battle cry duration reduced from 12 seconds + 0.4 seconds per level to 5 seconds at all levels
  • Battle cry now caps at -30% to enemy defense from -65%
  • Combat reflexes life per level reduced from 20 to 10
  • Combat reflexes life per level now scales from soft points instead of hard points
  • Combat reflexes no longer provides 4% faster hit recovery at level 1
  • Combat reflexes +1% faster hit recovery per level has been changed to +2% faster hit recovery per base point
  • Bash berserk synergy has been replaced with concentrate
  • Taunt duration now increases by .25 seconds every base level
  • Increased speed now gives 2% increased attack speed per base level
  • Berserk now caps at 30% physical resistance penetration
  • Berserk physical resistance penetration per level reduced from 2% to 1%
  • Double swing synergies increased from 12% to 16%
  • Double swing level 1 damage bonus increased from 18% to 20%
  • Stun level 1-16 duration scaling increased by 100%
  • Stun now deals ¼ weapon damage from 100%
  • Stun now properly targets monster without name locking
  • Stun can no longer be used in wolf form
  • Shouts defense per level increased from 8% to 10%

  • Whirlwind no longer attempts to do a normal attack when out of mana
  • Whirlwind no longer attacks in place during a namelock and will now whirlwind back and forth through the monster
  • Whirlwind damage per level reduced from 5% to 4%
  • Whirlwind base enhanced damage bonus reduced from 35% to 30%
  • Whirlwind now attacks 20% slower when dual wielding (6 frames during dual wielding compared to 5 when using a two handed weapon)
  • Leap level 1 mana cost reduced from 20 to 5
  • Leap mana cost per level reduced from 1 to .5
  • Leap range increased from a diminishing return scaling of 10-30 to 20-40
  • Leap travel speed increased by 33%

Druid

  • Dire wolves now have melee splash
  • Dire wolves base run speed increased by 10%
  • Summon Dire wolf werebear -6% damage synergy removed
  • Summon Dire wolf will now display its proper defense values
  • Spirit wolves now have melee splash
  • Spirit wolves base run speed increased by 10%
